Railwel Industries Inc. was created in 1968. Railwel is a subsidiary of Railtech International. It manufactures thermite welding products for the North American market using either the standard crucible or the one shot crucible.

It also distributes the various products or services offered by Railtech such as QPCJ welding kits with one shot cruicible, flash butt welding equipment or service, small equipment associated with the welding and also public transit electrification systems.
From the 40 or 60 lb rails, often used for automated storage and retrieval systems to the 305 lb rail which supports the Toronto stadium roof and needed to be welded in a slanted position, Railwel caters to all your rail welding needs whether it is on a railway, in a subway or for an overhead crane.

 

Railwel also sells on the Canadian market pure chromium produced by the Metals division of the Delachaux Group of which Railtech is a subsidiary.
